Peanut salad

Peanut salad is one of a easy to make filling salad which is healthy to eat and easy to make. Try this recipe now.

Ingredients

2 cups unroasted peanuts

shelled 1 large onion finely chopped 1 large tomato finely chopped 1 green chilli finely chopped 1 tbsp. coriander leaves finely chopped 1 small sprig mint leaves

finely chopped 1 tsp. cumin seeds coarsely crushed 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1 tbsp. Lemon juice Salt to taste

  • Wash peanuts, add water, pressure cook them for 10 minutes
  • Nuts should be cooked, but not mushy

  • Drain, wash under running water

  • Allow all water to drain for 10 minutes

  • Take in a salad bowl, add all other ingredients

  • Toss well till flavors blend, refrigerate till chilled 6
  • Serve chilled as a filling salad
