From the desk of the Founder

I started the FoodLure on 21st Jan, 2015 with a vision to share my experience and knowledge of food, organize few food related events and most important of all form a community of food lovers via my food blog. FoodLure started its journey as a simple Facebook page, from where it moved forward and got a lot of viewers from almost all continents, viewed by citizens of 20 countries on regular basis. When I saw all this appreciation coming back I thought to increase the reach of FoodLure by doing some mega food events and having chats with connoisseurs of the food and the journey continued. I was overwhelmed by the support I got from food Industry. Doyel Sarangi and Sanaya Chatlani joined the journey of FoodLure in September, 2015. Saransh Goila, Chef Saby and Sanjeev Sir gave me time to talk about food and thus the journey keep on becoming even more interesting. Now FoodLure is not only on Facebook but also on Twitter, Instagram and have its own site now.

Through FoodLure I try to connect to all four kinds of food lovers I met in life:

1. Who are connoisseurs of food and have marked a spot for themselves in the industry.

2.Who cook at home and appreciate the simple flavors of food.

3. Who love to explore food available outside in hotels/ restaurants/ streets and highways.

4. Health Conscious people who love eating but make a conscious choice for food low in calories.

“There is no pleasure greater than seeing the happiness in the face of hungry child after his stomach is full.”
~Shruti Jain

On FoodLure I have been sharing the insights on food industry by experts, simple and exotic recipes, recommendations for good restaurants, articles on food and as well some information on good salads and fruits. I aspire to do same more regularly in future and start new sections like food charity on FoodLure to meet the greater objective of FoodLure. I am delighted to announce that FoodLure is in final stage of association with SOCH(Society for Children) for Food Charity and the money donated by the viewers on FoodLure page will be directly routed to SOCH (http://sochforchildren.org) for meeting food related needs of children at NGO.

With that I would like to conclude abut FoodLure saying that FoodLure is not just a page for food recipes or restaurants feedback but rather a centre for food lovers to indulge with everything related to food be it recipes, expert’s journey of food, restaurants mention, food events and food charity. Let your lust for food increase with FoodLure.

Yours Sincerely,
Shruti Jain
